All High School Students & Parents are Invited

...to join the 7^th and 8^th grade confirmation students and their parents on Wednesday April 23^rd from 6:30-9:00 p.m. for a movie and pizza/pop.  The movie is called, “The Cure.” 

This is a great movie about life and death, as well as our own acceptance of others.  The movie also lends itself to great discussion.

6th Grade Pre-Confirmation Program

The 6th Grade pre-confirmation program will begin April 2^nd and involve five sessions including an overview of the entire confirmation program. Topics will include: Baptism, Bible (Old & New Testaments), the Ten Commandments, Worship, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Apostle’s Creed. We will meet each Wednesday evening in April (2, 9, 16, 23 & 30) from 5:45 -6:30 p.m.

8^th – 12^th Grade Students & Parents

The National Youth Gathering will be held in New Orleans in July, 2009. A meeting will be held in Luther Hall on April 20^th at 6:00 p.m. Anyone seriously interested in going, please attend this meeting.

Good Earth Village Summer Camp

   Good Earth Village welcomes your children!!! GEV has welcomed children into their camp for many years now. It is an awesome experience for all ages with many activities such as singing, swimming, camp fire cook outs, devotions, games, team building and Faith-filled studies and discussions in the majestic rolling river valley of Spring Valley MN. Depending on the ages of your children, they could stay in a modern log cabin, rustic hilltop cabin, live in covered wagons or live at an outpost!

Now is the time to reserve your child's place at GEV camp and take advantage of several discounts. Early bird registration ends March 15th; having your child's registration in by this date makes your child's camp up to $50 less !!

There also is a NEW discount offered this year. The “Bring a Friend Discount”! If your child invites a child who has not participated in GEV camp, your  child will be eligible for another $50 discount per friend. There is no limit on the number of friends you could invite. If you do the early bird registration and the invite one friend prior to the March 15th deadline, your child would have up to a $100 off their camp fees!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is also a Sibling discount of $25 for week long camps.

Were you aware that camp is open for all children ages K-6 without having to stay over night? New this year is Adventurers camp. Camp takes place at the village from 9am-4pm and allows the kids to have all the camp experiences without the stay over. What an awesome way to introduce camp to those that have not been away from home!!!!

GEV camp is open to all children K-12. There are so many opportunities to for your children to have sing, have fun, build new friendships and worship in the beautiful camp tucked away in the hills by Spring Valley MN. Please take some time to check out all the camps offered and register today! Campers who are members of our church are given some financial assistance to attend.
